Elevations showing accurate ground lines, levels, height recession planes, location of doors, windows (with opening windows clearly shown), floor levels in relation to finished ground levels, exterior claddings, roof covering, down-pipes, spouting, sub-floor ventilation and flues
A minimum of four elevations is required, one for each aspect of the building. Elevations should identify:
- existing and finished ground level and the finished floor level(s)
- joinery (size and openings)
- roofing type, shape, pitch, eaves overhang, gutters, downpipes, and the location of vents
- type of wall cladding (and control joints if applicable)
- decks, balconies, pergolas and chimneys
- sub floor access and ventilation requirements (where applicable)
- height in relation to the property boundary
- maximum height of building above existing ground level
