Applying for a Building Consent

Manukau Building Consultants is now a business unit of Auckland Council which commenced on 1^st November 2010.

One of the key objectives of the Auckland Council establishment is to deliver a consistent approach across the region for building consent services.  Please use the new forms and checklists and discard old application forms and checklists you may have saved previously.  Word document "fill able" forms are a future initiative.

The forms are divided into packs for the various types of common building consent and PIM (Project Information Memorandum) applications for your ease of selection. Once you have completed the application forms, associated checklists and compiled the necessary consent documentation please bring in direct to Manukau Building Consultants offices here in Botany Junction (Corner Ormiston Rd and Te Irirangi Drive). No appointment necessary.

Our consent lodgement people will be happy to assist you complete the documentation during the lodgement of your application if there are areas you are uncertain of.

Please note that where Auckland Council forms state only 2 sets of plans are required, we require 3 sets of plans to be supplied with your consent application.

Lodging your Building Consent

In Manukau, you can apply directly to Manukau Building Consultants for your building consent. There is plenty of free carparking at our office in Botany Junction (above the Coffee Club) and you can submit your application at any time without an appointment.
